Who Am I?
Hey 👋
I'm Courtney and I am an undergraduate student at University at Albany double majoring in Informatics with a concentration in Software Development and
Computer Science. I am a developer based in New York working to be flexible and well rounded for any task. I am interested in new opportunities any type to grow
within my career from web development to mobile apps.
As of right now I am in the works of several different websites/web
apps and am fleshing out the ideas. Hopefully, I will turn those projects into reality soon (as much as a working student can do). In the coming
months I am also working on expanding my knowledge in mobile app development. Ultimately I want to keep growing and to find solutions to whatever life
throws my way.
Some fun facts!
When I am passionate about something it will always be 100%. This extends to the helping others, music, games, and more recently photography. I have always
been a creative person and have been interested in the arts despite my parents' wishes for a doctor or lawyer. I want to combine these other parts of me and
my found passion in programming to get the best of both worlds.
On the topic of music, I've always got an "ear worm" in my head and I could listen to the same song for hours, days, or even weeks.

Notable Projects
Shank Compiler (Jan 2023 - May 2023)
For my class I am using the language definition and documentation for a language called "Shank". I had created a Lexer, Parser, and an Interpeter from scratch. While it is a bit underdeveloped and may be a bit spotty with what works, it was a great and challenging project to work on during the Spring '23 semester.
University at Albany Student Association Website (2021-2022)
Responsible for updating and upkeeping a dynamic and responsive website for upwards of 18,000+ students. Worked to implement more industry standard accessibility features to enhance functionality for people with disabilities. Created new sections to create a more visually appealing website and improved upon continuity between pages.
University at Albany Dippikill Website (2021-2022)
Upkeeping an older website for a private 1000-acre wilderness retreat facility owned by the Student Association of the University at Albany. While not launched, I had created a new more modern webpage for Dippikill that had not been launched. This new released focused on being more functional and better for those with visual impairments. Images coming soon for the unreleased website.
Work Experience
T.E.A.M. Communication Styles, Inc. (May 2023 - Present)
Create visually appealing content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to attract target audiences. Research and learn about Google Data Analytics, LinkedIn Business, and WordPress Analytics.
Campus Center Management (Aug 2021 - Present)
Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise, and find solutions so that the event can continue.
Maintain equipment, reservation spaces, and the office by ensuring all items are returned to their proper location.
Provide excellent customer service and a white glove experience to all events in the complex to ensure client satisfaction
Information Technology Services (Aug 2021 - Dec 2022)
Provide campus wide support on a case by case basis regarding the use and maintenance of printers, desktops/laptops, projectors, and other devices.
Set up individual meetings to instruct faculty and staff on the proper usage of software and hardware.
